PUBLIC INFORMATION COMMITTEE
The Public Information Committee provides information to the public about the nature, purpose, and availability of Alcoholics Anonymous.
Qualifications (suggested):
Three years sobriety and is eligible for successive terms.
Term of Office
One Year (eligible for successive terms).
Duties:
- Recruits additional committee members as needed.
- Holds Public Information Committee meetings as needed.
- Coordinates with A.A. service entities as needed.
- Coordinates A.A. members to provide public information services at schools, businesses, local media, churches, civic groups, and other organizations.
- Presents proposals with any financial impact to the Business Committee.
